Yes. You can download Detusy and start learning German for free. Some advanced content may be part of a premium upgrade, but the core beginner lessons are available at no cost.
Do I need any prior German knowledge?
Not at all. Detusy is designed for absolute beginners. You start with the German alphabet and first words, then progress step by step toward your first conversations.
How does gamification work?
Every lesson rewards you with coins, gems and star ratings, and a daily streak keeps you coming back. Complete all the activities in a lesson to unlock its Final Test.
Can I use Detusy offline?
Absolutely. Download your lessons while connected and continue learning anywhere — on the bus, on a flight, or wherever you are — without an internet connection.
Which levels does Detusy cover?
Detusy takes you from A1 through B1 to C1, with topic categories like greetings, numbers, colors, food and family at every level — plus a Final Test to prove you've mastered each lesson.
How does pronunciation practice work?
You listen to native German audio, then practice speaking out loud. The app helps you compare your pronunciation so you can improve your speaking confidence.
